Garth Hudson to Receive 2012 London Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award

Garth Hudson, one of two surviving members of the original Band, will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2012 London Music Awards. The organist and his wife Sister Maud Hudson will also perform at the award ceremony, which will be held at London, Ontario’s Wolf Performance Hall on June 27. Other local artists will appear at the ceremony as well.

Hudson promises, “We will be running all over town the preceding day. Give us a shout-out or say hello if you spot us!” The Band co-founder has no other shows currently scheduled.
