Bizi Gara Returns to the Stage Tonight
Psych-folk outfit Bizi Gara returns to the stage tonight for a performance at Brooklyn, NY’s Zebulon. Bizi Gara frontman Baptiste Ibar (who created the cover art for Marco Benevento’s Invisible Baby) spent the past seven months showcasing his artwork in Morocco and London, but will reunite with his bandmates tonight for their first performance since Halloween 2011. Supporting Bizi Gara tonight will be the Will Bernard Trio, featuring The Sugarman 3’s Adam Scone on organ and Sexmob’s Kenny Wollesen on drums.
Bizi Gara consists of Baptiste Ibar (vocals, guitar), Noah Plotkin (drums, percussion), Kaiwei Hsu (bass), Michael Didonna (keys), and Maia Ibar on vocals.
Ibar is currently at work on the cover art for Marco Benevento’s forthcoming LP.
