Galactic wrapped-up a four-night run at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday. Each night of the run featured a different opener and an assortment of guests. On Saturday night, the High & Mighty Brass Band supported Galactic and emerged during their set for “Buck it Like a Horse.” In addition, David Shaw—the frontman for fellow New Orleans band The Revivalists—made a surprise appearance at the end of the band’s set on “Hey Na Na.” The Revivalists were in town to support Anders Osborne across the East River at New York’s Bowery Ballroom earlier in the night.

Several guests also emerged during Galactic’s show at the Bowl on Friday. The Dead Kenny G’s kicked things off and Galactic later invited out saxophonist Skerik for “Keep Steppin.” The Stooges Brass Band, who were booked as the evening’s after party entertainment, also took the stage a bit early for “Gimme My Money Back” and “Snowball.” As previously reported, the principal members of Living Colour also made a surprise appearance with Galactic on Thursday.
