Phish Add Festival-Style Vendors to Atlantic City Event

While not a proper festival, Phish will perform three consecutive nights at Atlantic City, NJ’s 142-acre Bader Field next week. The Vermont Quartet has now confirmed that the three-day event will feature several festival-style vendors.

Of particular note, Bader Field will host The Freezer, an official Phish Archive merch store. The Freezer will feature a number of shirts, hard goods and posters from Phish’s past, available for purchase. All are original items from the band’s collection, and not reprints. They include items from Phish’s pre-hiatus 1995-2000 period and are extremely limited (4-5 of each style). The WaterWheel Foundation will be the recipient of a percentage of all sales in The Freezer.

In addition to shirts, The Freezer will offer a very limited number of rare posters from the Phish Archives, including posters from Phish’s ‘97 & ‘98 Europe Tours, Madison Square Garden ‘98-‘99 and ‘97-‘98, Halloween ‘98 and others. These posters will be available in very limited quantities and we’re expecting them to go fast. The Freezer will also sel a very limited number of Junta vinyl records, which were originally pressed for Record Store Day.

The WaterWheel Foundation will celebrate their 15th year on tour this Summer. Since 1997 the foundation has donated nearly $1 million dollars to non-profit organizations across the country. At Bader Field, WaterWheel will team up with Ben & Jerry’s to offer free scoops of Phish Food as well as a display of the history of Phish food including the progression of the pint’s packaging to special event Ts. A special reprint of the original t-shirts celebrating the Flynn Theatre concert launch of the ice cream flavor will be available for a donation.

Keeping with the festival-like vibe, Bader Field will also host The Beers of the World tent from past events, featuring 50 different kinds of beer. Of note is the return of Sierra Nevada’s FOAM, a special pilsner brewed specifically for Phish events.

Of course, Relix magazine and Jambands.com will also be onsite so be sure to stop by the Relix Media Group booth to subscribe for a discounted price (or just say hi).

sorry, been busy. At least now all the Phish fans will have a good drug shopping spot so they can get real high and not notice how bad this band sucks. Your friend, Dave the Slave

Give credit where credit is due…The Freezer is the best possible name for a tent that sells archival Phish merchendise. Brilliant Phish creative team, my hat is off to you.

She was probably a Phish fan!!!!!
I am not sure who Nicleback is. They probably write better songs than Phish. Your friend, Dave the Slave
