Members of Lettuce sat in with Dave Matthews Band for the second show in a row on Saturday night. After opening up for DMB at Saratoga Springs, NY’s SPAC, Lettuce/Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno emerged during DMB’s set for the Under the Table and Dreaming classic “Rhyme & Reason.” As Krasno left the stage, Lettuce’s horn section—collectively known as The Shady Horns—emerged for another DMB staple, “Jimi Thing.” At the end of the show, Lettuce singer Nigel Hall also made a guest appearance on “Stay.”

It was a particularly busy night for trumpeter Rashawn Ross, a member of Lettuce and Dave Matthews Band, who performed throughout both sets. Dave Matthews Band guitarist Tim Reynolds also pulled double duty and joined Lettuce for “Fly.” Dave Matthews Band will perform at Wantagh, NY’s Jones Beach Amphitheatre tomorrow.
