Steve Winwood Joins Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at Royal Albert Hall

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ 2012 European tour brought the group to London’s Royal Albert Hall for the second of two performances last night. Midway through the set, London native Steve Winwood emerged for a take on his former supergroup Blind Faith’s “Can’t Find My Way Home,” as well as The Spencer Davis Group’s “Gimme Some Lovin.’” Laurel Canyon session man and producer Jonathan Wilson opened the show (who was recently featured in the April/May issue of Relix).

Watch Winwood join Petty and the Heartbreakers on “Can’t Find My Way Home” in the video below. To see more videos from the performance, head over to our Picks and Pans section over at Relix.com.

Sounds like a good time. Gimme Some Lovin’ is a Spencer Davis group song. A band Steve played with before Traffic.
