Phil Lesh Adds Summer Rambles

Phil Lesh has added three new Summer Rambles to Terrapin Crossroads’ calendar. From July 26-28, the bassist will perform at the San Rafael, CA club with Ryan Adams & the Cardinals/Chris Robinson Brotherhood guitarist Neal Casal, Furthur guitarist John Kadlecik, Chris Robinson Brotherhood keyboardist Adam MacDougall and Furthur drummer Joe Russo. Guitarist Stanley Jordan will also join the ensemble on July 26 and 27.

Lesh has now collaborated with multiple members of the Cardinals and Chris Robinson Brotherhood since he opened Terrapin Crossroads and continues to cover Adams on the regular.

Phil and Jill Lesh will host trivia night at the club tomorrow.

Neal Casal, and he’s awesomely talented. He sings a beautiful harmony and can play a mean guitar…well I should say a spacey wandering guitar. Great choice, Phil!

Good to see Casal in there!

Neal Casal is a perfect fit for Phil. Can’t wait to hear these shows!

Yeah, they were mixed up and sounded great but not to worry cause the Rogers (the coerrct spelling is without the d ) was used quite a bit and the producer loved them. He’s actually a big Rogers fan, just like me. This kit here in the photo is one of five different set-ups that was brought in to use on this session, which is actually quite common. The blue set was used for the first three days and then we put together this one for a completely different and totally bitchin’ vibe. So there you go and hope this helped.

Hi GeorgeWas just wondering why you play the whole tour on your blue Rodgers and when in the sdutio you choose to record with this mixed kit? Looks awesome though. Love the seventies look of that single headed bassdrum.
