Phish - 6/23/12 "Scent Of A Mule" from Phish on Vimeo.

An official video from June 23

Phish will kick off a two-night run at Noblesville, IN’s Klipsch Music Center tonight (the venue formally known as Deer Creek). The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for today predicting the hottest day in central Indiana since the 1930’s. Phish have issued a warning on their Facebook page, encouraging fans to do the following:

Wear lightweight, light colored clothing
Wear lightweight breathable hat with brim
Liberally apply sunscreen throughout the day
_ Stay hydrated. Drink water, drink water, drink water_
Alcohol actually dehydrates. If you’re drinking alcohol drink at least one glass of water with every alcohol beverage.
Stay in a shaded area as much as possible
Utilize the 2 misting stations and 15 misting fans located throughout the venue

Phish first performed at Deer Creek in 1995 and return to the venue every summer they’ve toured with the exception of 2011. The band even hosted three-night runs at the popular shed in 2000 and 2003.

I guess they should rename this site fish.com. Seems like every other story is about Fish. And now, a story on the heat warning issued before the show. What the fuck!! All you had to do was step outside to know it was hot as hell.
