As previously reported, The String Cheese Incident welcomed a number of guests at Rothbury, MI’s Electric Forest festival this past weekend. Several acts also sat in with Relix newgrass/Americana Summer Stars, Infamous Stringdusters. During their set at the festival’s main Ranch Arena stage, Infamous Stringdusters invited out both SCI singer/guitarist Bill Nershi and the Rubblebucket Horns (the group’s set was billed as Infamous Stringdusters with special guests). For his sit in with the band, Nershi appeared on both “Deep Elum Blues” and String Cheese Incident’s “Black Clouds.” The Rubblebucket Horns emerged at the end of the groups set for “Loving You” and remained onstage for the rest of the Stringdusters’ set.

Infamous Stringdusters will appear at Santa Fe, NM’s Santa Fe Sol on July 12 while String Cheese will kick off a run of shows at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks on July 6.
