Members of Two Recently Reunited Groups Share the Stage with Shity Shity Jamband

Members of two recently reunited acts collaborated over the weekend. While attending a friend’s bachelor party on Saturday night, Addison Groove Project keyboardist Rob Marscher took the stage at New York’s Nublu for an extended portion of Shity Shity Jamband feat. Zuzuka Poderosa’s set. Despite their name, Shity Shity Jamband features guitarist Avi Bortnick (John Scofield), bassist Jesse Murphy (Brazilian Girls, John Scofield), drummer Aaron Johnston (Brazilian Girls) and others. As previously reported, Brazilian Girls recently reunited for a series of shows while Addison Groove Project will end their hiatus from a September 15 show at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club.
