Falling on July 27 and 28 this year, Mendon, OH’s Tabfest has proved itself over 15 years as one of the nation’s most successful charity music festivals. Over the history of Tabfest they have raised over $37,000 for local charitable organizations, as well as over 9,000 pounds of aluminum drink-can tabs for the Ronald McDonald house.

For this year’s festival, Tabfest just announced the legendary New Riders of the Purple Sage as their headliners, along with appearances by Freekbass and the Hackensaw Boys. Since their reformation in 2005 the New Riders have been led by guitarist David Nelson, who helped found the band with Jerry and John Dawson in San Francisco. Two day passes for Tabfest, which include camping, are on sale for only $50 each, with all of the proceeds being donated to local charities.
