During Radiohead’s performance at Manchester, TN’s Bonnaroo last month, Thom Yorke said from the stage, “This song [Supercollider] is for Jack White. We’re not gonna tell you why, but you’ll find out.” Yorke’s comments immediately started rumors that Radiohead spent time recording at White’s Nashville, TN Third Man Studio, which is located less than an hour from Manchester.

In an interview with BBC Radio 6 Music, White confirmed those rumors admitting, “I don’t know how much to tell about it except that I didn’t play with them or produce it. But they came and recorded at Third Man. I don’t know what else they want to be said about that, so that’s all I probably can say!”

Radiohead originally released “Supercollider” as a 12-inch vinyl Record Store Day special. The group may have recorded a new version of the song or another original tune while at White’s studio.
