Last night, G. Love & Special Sauce closed their summer run with Umphrey’s McGee at Indianapolis, IN’s The Lawn at White River State Park. The Philadelphia blues-rapper has sat in with Umphrey’s McGee a number of times since their tour started in late June. Partway through Umphrey’s McGee’s second set, G. Love emerged for a cover of Led Zeppelin’s arrangement for “When the Levee Breaks.” It was the first time Umphrey’s McGee had covered the classic blues number, which Led Zeppelin rebuilt and recorded.

Umphrey’s McGee’s summer tour will continue at New York’s Catalpa NYC Festival on July 28.
