SummerScreen in Williamsburg’s McCarren Park to Host Free Music and Films
Hosted by The L Magazine in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood, the SummerScreen series kicks off July 11. The series will feature outdoor film screenings and concerts all summer long. DIY music promoter Todd P will curate the musical performances. Real Estate side-project Ducktails, Indian Jewelry, Talk Normal and Tim Harington (of Les Savy Fav) are set to perform this summer.
Up first is a screening of Cruel Intentions with music by Colin L. Orchestra and Indian Jewlery this Wednesday. Bands will perform at 6:30pm and the films will begin at 8:15pm.
