Australian festival Big Day Out has announced its 2013 lineup with Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Killers headlining. The lineup also features 30 Big Day Out first-timers, including the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend, Band of Horses, Animal Collective, B.o.B., Delta Spirit, Foals, Sleigh Bells, and Against Me!. Alabama Shakes, Childish Gambino, Gary Clark Jr. and others are making their first time appearance in Australia for the festival.

The festival’s dance lineup for The Boiler Room will be headlined by the Bloody Beetroots, who are set to perform the world premier of their new live show. Kaskade, Crystal Castles, Pretty Lights, Nicky Romero, Morgan Page and Sampology will also perform full-production sets.

Tickets for the festival go on sale this Thursday July 19 at 7PM, starting at $165. A very limited number of Holographic Souvenir Big Day Out tickets will be available from 8am Monday 16 July at select General Pants Co. stores with each ticket going in a draw to win a trip for 2 to sister festival Lollapalooza.
