Gregg Allman sat in with country stars Zac Brown Band on Saturday night. The performance took place at Camden, NJ’s Susquehana Bank Center as part of Zac Brown Band’s tour in support of
Uncaged. Allman emerged partway through the group’s set for The Allman Brothers Band classics “Midnight Rider” and “One Way Out” (the latter tune is a blues staple long associated with the Brothers). Allman performed with Zac Brown Band at the 2011 CMA Awards, and Zac Brown Band drummer Chris Fryar was a member of the ABB side project Oteil and the Peacemaker. Later this summer, The Allman Brothers Band and Zac Brown Band will co-headline Scranton, PA’s first annual Peach Music Festival.

Zac Brown Band’s fall tour will continue through November. As of press time, the tour will conclude with a November 17 stop at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
