The Allman Brothers Band and Santana closed their joint tour at Columbia, MD’s Merriweather Post Pavilion last night. The Allman Brothers Band played first and invited out Carlos Santana’s wife Cindy Blackman Santana to play drums on “Good Morning Little Schoolgirl.” Santana closed the night and, like at most of his headlining sets on this tour, invited out ABB guitarists Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes during his segment of the show. This time the guitarists sat in on a Sonny Sharrock blues tribute and Funkadelic’s “Maggot Brain.”

The Allman Brothers Band will perform at Atlanta, GA’s Chastain Park Amphitheater tomorrow while Santana is off until a stop at Curacao ‘s North Sea Jazz on August 31.
