The Motet have rescheduled their summer appearance at Bellvue, CO’s Mishawaka Amphitheater for September 7. The show was originally slated to take place in July but was cancelled due to the High Park Fire. The group’s rescheduled date will benefit the volunteer firefighters of Poudre Canyon who saved The Mish from probable extinction during that horrific event.

Proceeds from the event will support the Poudre Canyon Volunteer Fire Departmen. Regular Motet guitarist Ryan Jalbert will not be able to make the show, so Kyle Hollingsworth Band’s Dan Schwindt will fill in for the gig. Head for the Hills and Juno What? will open the night.

In other news, The Motet have added another show to their Parliament-Funkadelic tribute Halloween run. The group will now perform at Beaver Creek, CO’s The Villar Performing Arts Center on October 28.
