Yonder perform “Fire On The Mountain” on 7/12/12

Last night was the first of two shows in which Phil Lesh was slated to join Yonder Mountain String Band at his Terrapin Crossroads venue. Yonder initially took the stage by themselves, opening with “Blue Collar Blues” and running through a first set that included such songs as “Pretty Daughter,” “Spanish Harlem,” “Mother’s Only Son” and “What the Night Brings.” Then following set break, Lesh emerged with the group for “Brown Eyed Women” and remained for most most of what followed. Lesh appeared on
”All Around This World “ followed by a fully-segued sequence that began with “Midwest Gospel Radio” followed by “Rag Doll,” “Eyes of the World,” “Criminal,” “Fire On The Mountain” and then back into “Criminal.” The five musicians will return for a second go round tonight at Terrapin Crossroads.
