The North Mississippi Allstars Duo, Luther and Cody Dickinson, will play a benefit show for NMA bassist Chris Chew on August 19. the performance will take place at Memphis, TN’s The Hi-Tone Café and will also feature Alvin Youngblood Hart, Tyler Keith & The Apostles and other musicians. Chew recently had a medical complication that hospitalized him for several weeks in serious condition.
All tickets will be sold at the door for a suggested donation of $10. There will also be a silent auction taking place throughout the evening. 100% of the money raised that night, including food and beverage sales, will be donated to Chew to aid in his recovery expenses.
