The Neville Brothers Join Erick Coomes at The Mint

Following The Neville Brothers’ performance at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 1, the musicians made their way over to The Mint to join in on the Big Lil Baby Jesus Peasant Party featuring Erick Coomes of Lettuce. Ivan and Ian Neville joined the group for a rendition of “All is Fair in Love and War,” a few tunes by The Funk Brothers, along a closing cover of the Journey classic “Don’t Stop Believing.” Also joining Coomes for the evening were his brother Tyler “Tycoon’ Coomes on drums and Adam “Shmeans” Smirnoff on guitar. The performance took place as part of Coomes’ weekly Wednesday residency at the Los Angeles venue.
