Dickey Betts has postponed his entire August run of shows. The former Allman Brothers Band guitarist’s postponed dates includes a stop at New York’s Iridium with the Les Paul Trio. A note from Betts’ manager David Spero explains, “We regret having to announce that the upcoming August shows are being postponed for a later date due to a family emergency close to Dickey. We will announce the rescheduled tour dates as soon as possible, and we apologize greatly for any inconvenience that these postponements may cause.” Betts recently started touring more regularly after a few years of more sporadic runs.
