Medeski Martin & Wood to Perform with the Joshua Light Show

Medeski, Martin & Wood will team up with legendary Joshua Light Show for a special show taking place April 20, 2013 at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts at University of California’s Davis campus. The performance is part of the Center’s Crossings series.

Tickets are available via the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts website.

The Joshua Light Show, founded by multimedia artist Joshua White, served as resident artists at Bill Graham’s Fillmore East during the late 1960’s. The band has provided psychedelic projections for bands including the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and The Who.

The photo accompanying this article is of the Grateful Dead performing with lights by the Heavy Water light show…not the Joshua Light show. Do a little research.
