Guitarist and leader of UK’s New Mastersounds Eddie Roberts will team up with Stanton Moore Trio keyboardist Wil Blades, Dirty Dozen Brass Band drummer Ermal Watson and saxophonist Joe Cohen and trumpeter Mike Olmos of Jazz Mafia for a special show taking place at San Francisco’s BooM BooM RooM later this month. Dubbed Eddie Roberts’ West Coast Sounds, the group will perform an evening of funky souljazz with support from rising New Orleans’ rock outfit The Revivalists.
