Rolling Stones’ GRRR to Feature Two New Tracks

The Rolling Stones will release a greatest hits collection, GRRR! featuring two new tracks on November 13 via ABKCO Music & Records and Universal Music Group. In addition to 50 career-spanning songs, the release will also feature the inclusion of “Gloom and Doom” and “One Last Shot,” which were recently recorded by the group in a studio in Paris, France. These brand new recordings mark the first time Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have all been together in the studio since completing A Bigger Bang in 2005.

GRR! will be available in various formats, including a three-CD 50 track version and a four-CD Super-Deluxe version with 80 tracks. Starting today, using the uView app fans can scan the GRRR! sleeve and watch the imagery come to life in 3D animation.

Oh, good. Yet another Rolling Stones Greatest Hits package. Does that make 12, or 13? Really, how many times can you sell the same songs, Mick?

Oh, I don’t know. There’ll be two new songs and I feel like waiting until the track listing
is announced. Remastered? I hope so.

The nothing cover of 40 Licks looks better than this. For their “Last Shot”, you’d think they’d put some more thought in this.
