On September 27, Sex Mob will perform a free concert to honor the opening of “The Sweet LIFE: A Celebration of the Golden Age of Italian Film.” The new photography exhibit boasts rarely seen images of such performers as Sophia Loren, Frederico Fellini and Ingrid Bergman. Sex Mob, led by trumpeter Steven Bernstein, will perform the music of the late Italian film composer Nino Rota, who won the academy award for his score for The Godfather.

Sex Mob is a Jazz fusion outfit whose repertoire has ranged from Nirvana to Basie to straight jazz. The show is slated to kick off at 7 PM.
