Gov’t Mule played the Warfield in San Francisco on Friday night. The band came on after an opening set from New Orleans rockers The Revivalists. Mule’s first set started off with a “D-Doggie Jam” and included a cover of The Band’s “The Shape I’m In”, as well as teases of “Shakedown Street” and Carlos Santana’s “Oye Como Va.” The second set kicked off with “Child Of The Earth” and ended with “Railroad Boy,” with The Revivialists’ Rob Ingraham joining the band on “The Other One Jam.” Fans were treated to a double encore, the first one being “World Boss” with a Vodoo Child tease, and the last one being “Lucky” with a guest appearance by Ed Williams of The Revivialists.
