Umphrey’s McGee brought two sets of their special brand of progressive jam rock to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. After an opening set from Conspirator, Umphrey’s kicked off their first set with the always fun “In The Kitchen” before ending it with an acoustic guitar version of Led Zeppelin’s “That’s The Way”, sandwiched between an acoustic “Great American”. The second set opened with “Bridgeless” and included a cover of the Talking Head’s “Making Flippy Floppy” with Umphrey’s pal, and Nashville local, Jeff Coffin on the sax. The band encored with their classic “Divisions”. Full set list below.
