Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds headlined Canton, MA’s Life is good Festival on Sunday. One of the first shows since the release of Dave Matthews Band’s new album Away From the World, the DMB guitarists debuted one of the album’s tracks, “Broken Things,” six songs into their set. In addition, a bit later in their show Matthews and Reynolds introduced a new cover of John Denver’s “Take Me to Tomorrow.” As of press time, the only Away From the World songs Matthews has yet to play live is “Belly Full” and “Drunken Solider.”

Life is good featured a few other notable collaborations. Though he did not sit in with his band mates, DMB fiddler Boyd Tinsley emerged during Michael Franti & Spearhead’s set for “Love Don’t Wait” and “Life is Better with You.” The DMB member was in the area for a screening of his new film Faces in the Mirror. Royal Family/Soulive Shady Horns members Ryan Zoidis & Eric Bloom also sat in with Ryan Montbleau Band.
