Chris Robinson Brotherhood performed at Nashville, TN’s Cannery Ballroom on Friday night as part of their extensive fall tour. During the encore of their two-set show, the ensemble welcomed Nashville guitarist Audley Freed to the stage for covers of Carl Perkins’ “Blue Suede Shoes,” The Grateful Dead’s “Bertha” and Slim Harpo’s “Got Love If You Want It.”

Freed played guitar with The Black Crowes from 1998-2002. He recently played in the super group Trigger Hippy with Crowes drummer Steve Gorman, Jackie Greene and Joan Osborne, among others. Chris Robinson Brotherhood also welcomed Black Crowes guitarist Luther Dickinson to the stage for their entire second set during a show at Memphis, TN’s New Daisy Theatre on August 17.
