Jimmy Cliff To Support DMB On Upcoming Tour

Jamaican reggae superstar Jimmy Cliff will support Dave Matthews Band for a number of shows on their upcoming tour. As previously reported, the tour will take Dave Matthews Band across the Northeast and to Chicago. Cliff will join the band from the beginning of their tour through the December 9 show in Boston. Cliff’s latest album, Rebirth, was released in July and debuted at No. 1 on the Reggae Chart. The dates that Cliff will be playing are listed below.

Pretty funny stuff. I see that Jambands.com is really opening its demographic to middle school. Jimmy Cliff is one of my favorite reggae singers. Too bad he didn’t play with DMB in the 90’s, when they were good.

Although the DMB musicians are of the highest caliber the songwriting is not. It’s unfortunate that the black violin player is actually a member of my fraternity.
