Jewish reggae-rapper Matisyahu has announced that he will be taking his annual Hannukah celebration, “Festival of Light,” on tour this December. The festivities will begin in San Francisco on December 8 before ending at the newly reopened Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on December 16. It will be the first time that Matisyahu has taken the “Festival of Light” across the country instead of keeping it on the East Coast, as he has done in the past. Four of the shows will be acoustic performances, while the other three will be backed by Matiyahu’s band, The Dub Trio. This year’s “Festival of Light” will feature a career-spanning set of material, as MAtisyahu plays plenty of his hits, a few hand-picked selections and some tracks of his latest album Spark Seeker. You can check out the dates for this year’s “Festival of Light” below.

Matisyahu will perform at the Dalai Lama’s “One World” peace concert in Syracuse, NY on Setember 9 with Dave Matthews, Nas, Cyndi Lauper and more before kicking off his U.S. college tour the next day in Ft. Collins, CO.
