The Rolling Stones will play a few small warm up gigs before their upcoming London and New York shows. Guitarist Ronnie Wood told NME that the band would play a few shows at “tiny, 200, 300 people kind of places” at some point over the next few weeks. He said that fans should “look out for any Cockroaches gigs,” in reference to the Cockroaches alias that the Stones have played under in the past. NME reports that the events culled possibly take place in Paris, where the band is currently rehearsing. As previously reported the Rolling Stones will appear at London’s O2 Arena on November 25 and 29, and at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on December 13 and 15. The band will also release a compilation album, GRRR!, on November 12.
