Hamilton in the studio

Tom Hamilton and his American Babies will spend the first part of November on the road with Tea Leaf Green. The group will support TLG on the East Coast, kicking off with a hometown show for Hamilton at Philadelphia’s World Cafe Live. “It’s always a good time doing an extended run of shows with the same band. Everyone is always crossing paths on the road, but it’s usually a short affair,” Hamilton said in a statement. “Tours like this give the opportunity for us to really get to know each other musically and personally, and have a great hang. We’re all looking forward to a lot of great nights of music.”

After these dates, American Babies will return to the studio where they have been working with Jon Altschiller (Phish, Dave Matthews Band) on the follow-up to 2011’s Flawed Logic. Altschiller also produced Hamilton’s Jammy nominated Brothers Past album, This Feeling’s Called Goodbye.
