Andrew W.K., Delta Spirit, Mikki James and Jody Porter of Fountains Of Wayne are among the acts who have joined the lineup for this evening’s Petty Fest. As previously reported, the event will take place at New York’s Webster Hall. Other confirmed acts include: Karen Elson, Justin Townes Earle, Father John Misty, Adam Green, Nicole Atkins, Jesse Malin, Sammy James Jr. (Mooney Suzuki), Cory Chisel & Adriel Danea, Steve Schiltz (Hurricane Bells), Ryan Miller (Guster), Har Mar Superstar, Devendra Banhart, Johnny T, Matt Sweeney, Danny Clinch & The Tangiers Blues Band, Justin Long, Petter Starkee (Alberta Cross) and Caveman.

Petty Fest will expand outside New York for the first time this fall. The first West Coast edition of the event is slated to take place at Los Angeles’ The El Rey Theatre on November 14 and 15. The loose tribute is organized by the same team who have produced New York’s Dylan Fest for a decade. The celebration started at the bar Manitoba and has gradually gained steam.

According to event organizer Austin Scaggs, an editor at Rolling Stone who will play bass at tonight’s event, the festival organizers hope to expand their series of tributes to other cities in the near future. They also hope to pay tribute to The Band by performing songs from The Last Waltz in San Francisco with a similar all-star cast. “We thought about doing that this time,” Scaggs says “but then they announced the [Love For Levon] tribute in new Jersey.”

Additional guests are expected to sit in throughout tonight’s show.
