A look at Friday’s EO performance

New York’s Sullivan Hall has cancelled Sunday night’s The Everyone Orchestra show due to the city’s MTA shutdown and Hurricane Sandy. Refunds will be issued to all ticket buyers. The show was slated to be the third and final night of The Everyone Orchestra’s Sullivan Hall run. In addition to EO founder Matt Butler, the evening’s lineup was scheduled to feature Jon Fishman, Furthur’s John Kadlecik, ALO’s Zach Gill and Lebo, Tea Leaf Green’s Reed Mathis, Jazz Mandolin Project’s Jamie Masefield, Katy Gaughan and the Snarky Puppy horns.

Butler, Fishman, Kadlecik, Mathis and Masefield led a similar version of EO on both Friday and Saturday. Friday’s show also featured keyboardist Marco Benevento and included a choice take on The Grateful Dead’s “The Other One,” among other loose covers.
