Metermen & Umphrey’s Play On

Despite a number of show cancellations up and down the Eastern Seaboard in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, two shows are officially going on as scheduled: The Metermen featuring Page McConnell at Boston’s Royale and Umphrey’s McGee at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD just outside of Washington D.C. Royale promoter Bowery Presents confirmed tonight’s show via Facebook early tonight. As for Umphrey’s, band keyboardist Joel Cummins sent out a tweet that the sold-out show tomorrow was happening and, in fact, that more tickets would be released at 4pm today.

The Metermen are still scheduled to perform tomorrow evening at New York City’s B.B. King’s Blues Club while Umphrey’s heads to Northhampton, MA on Thursday.
