Trey Anastasio has postponed his upcoming show at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre for the second time. Anastasio and his solo band were slated to perform at the Cap this past Sunday. Due to New York’s MTA shutdown and the Hurricane Sandy, Anastasio postponed his performance until November 5. The show has now been postponed a second time to an unspecified future date.

The Phish guitarist will still perform on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this evening. Fallon will tape his program without a studio audience (his house band The Roots not only performed during last night’s episode but also provided the show with its laugh track). In a message, Anastasio’s camp says, “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the devastating hurricane. Thanks to the incredible people on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and TAB teams, we have managed to borrow enough equipment to pull off the performance on tonight’s show. We’ll be playing our hearts out for everybody whom is able to tune in to NBC at 12:35pm Eastern/11:35pm Central.”

This will be Trey Anastasio Band’s first appearance on Jimmy Fallon.
