ALO Cover The Who, Grateful Dead, Warren Zevon For Halloween

ALO covered Warren Zevon, The Grateful Dead and The Who at their Halloween show at the SoHo Music Club in Santa Barbara, CA. The show was billed as “The Dance Still Dead In The Dark Blacklight,” and the venue was decked out in backlights for the occasion. The band played a rendition of Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London”—which Jerry Garcia co-opted for his Halloween shows in the ’80s—followed by “Falling Dominoes” with John Wooley on saxophone in the first set. Whooley joined ALO again during the second set, this time on “Sexo y Drogas” and “Plastic Bubble.” The band closed out set two with their version of the Grateful Dead’s “Touch of Gray.” The encore started off with a cover of The Who’s “Boris the Spider” and ended with the currently topical “Storms and Hurricanes.” You can view last night’s full setlist below.
