Tea Leaf Green celebrated Halloween at Tuscaloosa, AL’s Bama Theatre on Wednesday. The show was a co-bill with the band’s current tour companions Moon Taxi. The quintet adopted a The Life Aquatic theme for the show, complete with costumes from the cult film designed by TLG drummer Cochrane McMillan. They also played two songs from the film’s soundtrack: TLG opened their set with the Devo instrumental “Gut Feeling,” a song that appears in the film, and later played David Bowie’s “Starman,” a song Seu Jorge covers in Life Aquatic. Tea Leaf Green will perform at Auburn, AL’s War Eagle this evening.
