The Infamous Stringdusters dressed up as “bluegrass from the future” for their Halloween show at the Top Hat in Missoula, MT. The band paid tribute to Levon Helm with a rendition of “Up On Cripple Creek,” and also played a particularly awesome cover of Pink Floyd’s “Fearless.” Banjoist Chris Pandolfi said of the evening, “I saw a crew of lumberjacks, a skeleton, Romney and an alien polish off a round of beers when we kicked into ‘Tonight I’m Gonna Rock Ya,’ and I’ve never had more hope for the future.”

The Infamous Stringdusters are currently touring in support of their latest album Silver Sky. As previously reported, the band will headline a New Year’s Eve run that will take them to New York City, Philadelphia and Falls Church, VA before ringing in the New Year at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, VA on December 31.
