Umphrey’s McGee’s Cummins vs. Farag Election Comes To An End

As many of you may know, Umphrey’s McGee’s Joel Cummins and Andy Farag have been locked in a heated battle for the Presidency of the United States. The campaigns took a negative turn early on, with Cummins accusing Farag of encouraging drug use, and Farag insinuating that Cummins might be too old to hear properly. After over two months of senseless mudslinging, it appears as though their campaigns have come to a rather surprising end. Watch the video above to find out the conclusion of the Cummins vs. Farag 2012 Election.

As previously reported, Umphrey’s McGee recently announced a series of tour dates in early 2013. The band also played a couple of Halloween shows, complete with costume mashups, song mashups and plenty of covers.

At least Vince figured out to market them as a cover band with some gimmicks for the YouTube inclined to cover for a severe lack of good new material for a decade almost. At least that’s what the crew is worried about along with shrinking crowds and the non benefit to the profits by Jeffs lighting black hole as Ryan called it. It would be great to have ck5, but not if your weeknight shows sometimes are in the mid hundreds. The hiatus after they make the summer festival money and holiday nye will be good for them. Lord knows they need it on every front.

A band member loss will be part of the hiatus. A splitting of ways as it were and he won’t be replaced.
