Particle will play a special late night set at San Francisco’s Mezzanine on Saturday, December 29. The group will perform from Midnight-4 AM as a number of area shows wind down. For this special performance the group will build-out their stage show with live video projections, lasers and an expanded light show. “With so many great bands playing early shows in San Francisco over the holiday weekend (Further at Bill Graham Civic, Karl D/Robert Randolph at The Regency, Trombone Shorty at The Fillmore, etc.), we wanted to create a unique and immersive atmosphere for people who want to keep the late night dance party rolling,” Particle’s Steve Molitz, a onetime member of Phil & Friends, said in a statement. Special guests will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Particle recently wrapped-up their ’80s flashback Halloween tour. The outing included covers of memorable ‘80s songs like Men Without Hats’ “Safety Dance,” Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al,” Europe’s “The Final Countdown,” MARRS’ “Pump Up The Volume,” Madonna’s “Material Girl,” Technotronic’s “Pump Up The Jam,” David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance,” Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer,” Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” and Herbie Hancock’s “Rockit,” among others.
