Lotus have announced the first leg of their 2013 national tour. The 5-piece will hit the road in support of the forthcoming album on SCI Fidelity Records. Details on the release will be announced in the coming weeks. Lotus’ current lineup includes Mike Greenfield (drums), Jesse Miller (bass, sampler), Luke Miller (guitar, keys), Mike Rempel (guitar) and Chuck Morris (percussion).

The first part of the trek finds them hitting the Northeast including two New York City shows: Manhattan’s Best Buy Theater and Brooklyn’s far more intimate Knitting Factory. From there, Lotus heads to the Midwest for shows in Cleveland, Columbus, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and more. Then, it’s time to conquer the South with multiple shows in Texas, Florida and North Carolina and a two night run at Atlanta’s Terminal West. Brooklyn trio Moon Hooch will support on the first leg of the 2013 tour with the exception of the Knitting Factory show, and Keller Williams will share the bill with Lotus in Columbus.

As previously reported, Lotus plays two nights at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre, Mr. Small’s in Millvale, PA and two nights in Baltimore to ring in the New Year.
