Rich Robinson Sits in with Truth & Salvage Co.

Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson sat in with Truth & Salvage Co. at Atlanta, GA’s Smith’s Olde Bar on Thursday night. Robinson emerged during Truth & Salvage Co.’s set for a cover of Velvet Underground’s “Oh! Sweet Nuthin,” “Giant” and The Band’s “Shape I’m In.” Truth & Salvage Co. has toured with the Crowes and Chris Robinson signed the group to his label. The show was part of the band’s Music 4 Vets tour. The group has partnered with the non-profit, which provides free instruments and music therapy programs to veterans, for their current outing.

Rich Robinson will kick off a series of European dates at London’s The Borderline on December 8. Truth & Salvage Co. will perform at Richmond, VA’s Capital Ale House on Wednesday.

Where did this rumor come from? CR is killing it with the Brotherhood right now, but I’ll take the Crowes any day!

“Rumor has it that the Crowes will be back in 2013…” Chris’ new band is firing on all cylinders right now, so I hope The Crowes would be a short tour.
