On Saturday night, Keller Williams headlined Atlanta, GA’s The Variety Playhouse. Billed as a solo performance, Williams ran through two sets of his trademark, loop-heavy songs. Then, during his encore, he surprised fans by inviting out his occasional collaborators The Keels for a few songs. The musical couple played a few songs from the Keller & the Keels project and beyond, including Kris Kristofferson’s “Don’y Cuss the Fiddle,” Patterson Hood’s “Uncle Disney,” “Connie Chung” and “Whirlybird Woodchuck.” Williams’ tour will continue at Orlando, FL’s The Social on Thursday.
