The group will appear at the new venue on Saturday December 8, with tickets on sale via Ticketmaster starting on Monday, November 19. The Stones, who have performed some warm-up gigs in Paris, will appear at London’s O2 Arena on November 25 and 29, and then at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on December 13 and 15. The band will also release a compilation album, GRRR!, on November 12. Two new songs from the album can be heard here and here.

Mick Jagger is more a buisness man than rock star, they guy went to London School of Economics. He saw R&R as a smart buisness opportunity, and cashed in big time!

Jim Dolan ….are you watching? The Stones are skipping MSG again. Whats next? a 2 night run at Nassau? Somewhow I think the people who paid the egregious prices for the Newark shows are being screwed. I hate artists who add shows based on sales, (not what the Stones are doing, just saying) who add a “2nd night” when the firsat sells well, etc. I understand its good business for them, but to me its dilutive to the experience. Those who bought tickets to the Rock may have done so thinking they were in on something “special”. Now, its less special. But i am not surprised, i expect Mick & Co. to go for as much $$ as they can. Its been their m.o. forever.
