Norah Jones, Fiona Apple, Graham Parker, Lindsey Buckingham, Wilco, Ryan Adams, The Avett Brothers and Punch Brothers are among the artists slated to appear on the soundtrack for This Is 40, the sequel to Knocked Up. Created by writer/director Judd Apatow, This Is 40 expands upon the story of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) as they reach 40.

The soundtrack album features original, Jon Brion-produced songs by Norah Jones, Fiona Apple, Graham Parker and Lindsey Buckingham. It also includes Wilco and Ryan Adams tracks created specifically for the film. Punch Brothers appear as the backing band on several songs. In addition, the album also features Paul Simon, Loudon Wainwright, Yoko Ono, and The Avett Brothers. Apatow produced the soundtrack himself. This Is 40 is slated for release on December 11.
