Devon Allman to Release First Solo Album

Devon Allman will release his debut solo album Turquoise on February 12. The first record from the Royal Southern Brotherhood/Honeytribe guitarist was produced and mixed by Grammy Award winner Jim Gaines at his studio in Stantonville, TN. Allman is backed on the CD by his Royal Southern Brotherhood bandmate Yonrico Scott on drums, as well as Myles Weeks on bass. The album also features guest appearances by Luther Dickinson, Ron Holloway, Samantha Fish and more.

Devon Allman, who is the son of Allman Brothers Band keyboardist Gregg Allman, is currently on tour in Europe with his blues supergroup, The Royal Southern Brotherhood. You can check out a feature on The Royal Southern Brotherhood from the latest issue of Relix here.
