ALO Trio to Join Bob Weir and Mickey Hart Band For Rex Benefit

Members of ALO have joined the bill for the upcoming Rex Foundation benefit, A Buck Dancer’s Choice. As previously reported, the event will honor longtime Grateful Dead manager Jon McIntire, who passed away earlier in the year. ALO’s Dan Lebowitz (guitar), Steve Adams (bass) and Dave Brogan (drums) as well as Lesley Grant are the latest additions to the celebration.

The four musicians join a lineup that already includes Bob Weir and Mickey Hart Band. Brogan performed as part of Hart’s band at Wavy Gravy’s 75th birthday celebration in 2011 while Lebo will perform as part of Bill Kreutzmann & Friends at Hawaii’s Homegrown Music Festival later in the month.
A Buck Dancer’s Choice will take place at San Francisco, CA’s Fillmore on December 1.

If you go make sure and pay lots of attention to Mickey, if not he may throw a hissy fit and start punching people.
